Kaizen Cycling
Kaizen is a Japanese word, a philosophy, a process that refers to any improvement, one-time or continuous, large or small.
Advocating cycling as a sport, for recreation and as a means of sustainable travel
At Kaizen Cycling we’re dead keen on riding our bikes and on encouraging other’s to do so too. You could say we’re rather obsessed with cycling as a fun and sustainable means of transport, as a pastime, as a means of getting fit and as a sport. Cycling is for everyone whatever your age and whatever your level of skill and we offer a range of cycling related service as outlined below.
Our highly qualified coaches and instructors have a wealth of experience and keep up to date with the latest methods and practices through regular CPD. The Kaizen Cycling Coaching Philosophy sets the tone for how we deliver all of our coaching services.
We offer discipline specific (mountain bike, cyclocross and road/time trial) performance coaching for those wishing to improve their race performance or wanting to prepare for a specific event.
Our skills focussed coaching is also discipline specific (mountain bike, cyclocross and road/time trial) aimed at providing participants with the knowledge to start building skills in their chosen discipline.
In 2018, Kaizen Cycling joined forces with Mud Sweat and Gears to bring Cross Country Mountain Bike Racing to Central Region with the formation of Mud Sweat & Gears Central and we ran 3 taster events in 2018. After taking a break in 2019 we hope to return for 2020.
